System Engineer (Technical Leader / Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities:

    • Handle 2nd level support escalated by team members via phone, remote or onsite
    • Project implementation and deployment of servers, workstations and network equipment (e.g. MS Exchange, Virtualization, Networking Solutions)
    • Mentor, lead and train a team of junior engineers (3-5 per team) on proper IT best practices and technical know-how Spearhead and conduct R&D and testing for new products/solutions
    • Handle clients with medium to complex IT Infrastructure environment
    • Manage external clients’ requests and issues independently
    • Conceptualize and present IT solutions to help resolve clients’ problems

 

Prerequisites:

    • Possess at least 3-5 years' related server / system support experience
    • Strong technical skills honed from vast project experience in various deployment
    • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients
    • Good attitude, able to work well under pressure and willing to commit to after-office hours
    • Drive for excellence in serving clients and meeting SLAs
    • Possess MCITP-EA or MCSE certifications is not a must but good to have
    • Networking background will be an added advantage
