Extension of Foreign Worker Levy Waiver

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) announced on 20 September 2021 that the foreign worker levy waiver has been extended to December 2021. This applies to all S Pass and Work Permit holders, including migrant domestic workers, for the period of their Stay-Home-Notice (SHN); click here for the previous arrangement.

Affected employers do not have to pay levies for their foreign workers who are on SHN that falls between January 2021 and December 2021. This new extension will help employers to manage costs incurred from COVID-19 safeguard measures that affect migrant workers and migrant domestic workers, as Singapore gradually reopens its border.
